Professor Brian Gunter has joined the School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech as a member of the Space System Design and Optimization Discipline Area.

A project called ARTEMIS propelled an Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory (ASDL) team to victory in a missile design competition.

Dr. Philip A. Fawcett has accepted an appointment to the School of AE Advisory Council (AESAC).

Ms. Aude Marzuoli is the recipient of the AIAA Guidance, Navigation and Control Graduate Award for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Dr. Jayant Sabnis has accepted an appointment to the School of Aerospace Engineering Advisory Council (AESAC).

Dr. Raghvendra Cowlagi has accepted an offer to join the faculty of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) as an Assistant Professor starting August 2013.

NASA has selected 65 graduate students as the 2013 class of Space Technology Research Fellows. Of the 65 winners announced today by NASA, five are from Georgia Tech and 4 of those are from the School of AE.
